Artificial Turf in Manatee, Sarasota, and Pinellas Counties
KC Outdoor is based in Bradenton and installs artificial turf and putting greens in eight cities and keys along the Gulf Coast. Tampa is outside the service area.

KC Outdoor is a family-owned company based at 18013 Gander Terrace in Bradenton.

Lakewood Ranch
Lakewood Ranch crosses the Manatee and Sarasota county line, and its neighborhoods have homeowners associations with their own guidelines for yard changes.

Sarasota
Sarasota County restricts lawn fertilizer from June 1 through September 30 every year, and a turf yard takes no fertilizer or irrigation in any season.

St. Petersburg
St. Petersburg is the northern end of our service area, and the 2026 state rule changed what the city can require for turf on most single-family lots.

Venice
Venice is the southern end of our service area, and on low lots near the water every install starts with a graded, crushed-stone base that drains.
- Manatee and Sarasota Counties
Siesta, Lido, and Longboat Keys
We install on Lido Key and Siesta Key in Sarasota County and on Longboat Key in Manatee County.

Florida turf rules
Florida Allows Turf on Most Single-Family Home Lots
Since May 19, 2026, Florida Rule 62-308.100, adopted under section 125.572 of the Florida Statutes, bars counties and cities from prohibiting synthetic turf on single-family lots of one acre or less when the install meets the state standards. The rule applies in Manatee, Sarasota, and Pinellas Counties alike.
The state rule does not cover HOA covenants, so a neighborhood association’s guidelines still apply. Condominiums, duplexes, and commercial property are outside the rule as well.
In Manatee and Sarasota Counties, the Southwest Florida Water Management District limited lawn watering to one day a week during the 2026 drought. A turf yard needs no irrigation, so it stays green on any watering schedule.
